Candace Melton and Andrea King have been best friends since childhood, growing up side by side and sharing a lifetime of adventures. Now, they’re teaming up as King of Pops’ very first franchisees in Texas, bringing their lifelong bond and shared passion for creating joy to Houston and its surrounding areas.
With Houston’s year-round heat and vibrant local culture, Candace and Andrea knew this was the perfect place to sling pops. “Offering a refreshing treat on a Texas summer day is the perfect way to turn a frown upside down,” says Candace. Together, they’re on a mission to spread Unexpected Moments of Happiness across their community.
Candace brings decades of experience as a real estate professional, with deep roots in Houston and a knack for building lasting connections. Andrea, equally connected and driven, shares Candace’s enthusiasm for getting involved in the community, brightening people’s days, and making every pop count.
